END TIME MISSION

Jesus was addressing the disciples of John the Baptist (Matthew 11:2-15). He spoke at length about John and concluded: “If you are willing to receive it, John is Elijah who is to come” (KJV, RSV, NKJV, NWT). He, who has ears, let him hear, he adds.

Was John the Baptist to return at some future date? Certainly yes, at least, if Jesus is to be believed. No wonder he stresses - “if you are willing to receive it”.

A follow-up question on the coming of Elijah was made during the transfiguration (Matthew 17:11-13). Elijah and Mosses appeared alongside Jesus on the mountain. The disciples asked:

“Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?” To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come but they did not recognise him but have done to him everything they wished ... Then the disciples knew that he was talking about John the Baptist”.

Similar verses can also be found in the Holy Koran. In As Saffat 37:129-130 says: “And we left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" (English translation by: Abdullah Yusufali).

Yet, it was not only Jesus who linked John to Elijah. The Angel Gabriel also did (Luke 1:17).

 And the prophet Malachi also speaks of Elijah coming before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord (Malachi 4: 5).

Father John (John the Baptist / Elijah) established the Gospel of God Church.  He was reborn in Africa (Zimbabwe) on 1 October 1914, and began his mission exactly eighteen years later - on 1 October 1932. This is the Prophetic Church that bears the true testimony of Jesus – the Spirit of Prophecy (Rev 19: 10) – the last covenant.

Why would such an unprecedented event take place in Africa?

To understand this let us examine two Biblical prophecies - Prophet Isaiah and Prophet Enoch.

 A Great Saviour to Egypt (Africa)

The Nation-State that we know as Egypt has been referred to by various names over the years.  Today, its Arabic speaking nationals call it Misr, which is derived from Mizraim. Biblically, Mizraim was one of the sons of Ham – Noah’s black son (Ham means black).

Likewise, the ancient Egyptians in their language (not Arabic), referred to their country as Kame, Keme, Khermit, Kimi, and Kheme – all of which mean black – and are interpreted by different scholars either as “the black land”, or “the land of black people”.

The Bible refers Egypt to as “the Land of Ham” (Psalm 105:23, 27; 106:22).  Ham’s descendants settled in present-day Africa. Thus, the name Egypt is symbolically used to refer to Africa.

The prophet Isaiah spoke of a great saviour who would be sent to redeem the Egyptians at a time of great oppression; manifested by colonial rule all over Africa.

“And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them” (KJV) (Isaiah 19:20).

Since saviour is normally associated with Jesus Christ, it is necessary to understand why the above verse does NOT refer to Jesus.

Was Jesus sent to the Egyptians?

In his own words, more than once, Jesus Christ asserts that he was sent only to “the lost sheep of Israel”. He instructed his disciples:

“Do not go among the gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matthew 10:5).                                     

Likewise, he informs the Canaanite woman:

“I have been sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matthew 15:24).

 Further he explains:

“It is not right to take the Children’s bread and toss it to the dogs” (Matthew 15:26).

It is for the above reason that even after Christ departed, and asked his disciples to travel and preach world wide “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19), Peter was yet to be convinced that: Preaching to the Gentiles was the right thing for a Jew to do (Acts 10:11-29).

Therefore, it is quite evident that Jesus was not sent to the Egyptians, but only to the lost sheep of Israel.

On the other hand, John the Baptist was sent to Africa at a time of great repression - and he did liberate Africa. It was he who liberated Africa from colonial rule.

What the Prophet Enoch Saw - “In Black and White”.

Read by the earliest Christians and quoted in the bible, (Compare Jude vs. 9 and 1 Enoch 1: 8) the books of Enoch contain several prophecies that traverse the millenniums.

Of extreme relevance in our time are Enoch’s visions prior to the final Judgement - which are depicted in:

·        1 Enoch Chapter 90:38  

38. And I saw till all their generations were transformed and they all became white bulls; and the first among them became a lamb, and that lamb became a great animal and had great black horns on its head and the Lord of the sheep rejoiced over it (Charles Translation)

Similarly,

·        1 Enoch Chapter 89: 46-48

46. Then I saw that the nature of all of them was changed, and that they became white cows;

 47. And that the first, who was in the midst of them, spoke, when that word became a large beast Upon the head of which were great and black horns;

48. While the Lord of the sheep rejoiced over them (Laurence Translation)

·        Enoch Prophesied that the Most High who is blessed forever would descend in the southern quarter of the earth. (1 Enoch 77:1 – Charles Translation) or (1 Enoch 76:1-2 Laurence Translation)

·        Enoch prophesied that the Old Jerusalem would be lifted off and laid southwards.

·         In the New Jerusalem, Enoch saw several people gather - depicted as white bulls.

·         The first of these animals became a lamb with great black horns on its head.  All the birds of the air and beasts of the field feared him and made petition to him all the time - and the Lord of the sheep rejoiced over it   See (1 Enoch 90:28-40) Translated by R. H. Charles

Father John (John the Baptist) invoked the above prophecy and explained: “The white bulls and the white fleece of the lamb are indicative of the garments worn by those who subscribe to the Seventh and last covenant. The black horns of the great animal were a pointer to the fact that the last Messiah would come from a Nation of Black people”.
